This is an ASAP interview opportunity for the 24/25 School year In this full-time, in-person role, you will play a vital role in supporting students within an elementary caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify students' needs in areas of self-care, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students, aligned with their specific needs and academic IEPs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, utilizing evidence-based strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to create a cohesive approach to supporting student success in the classroom and beyond.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in occupational therapy.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid Arizona License to practice Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working with elementary school students in a school setting (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of child development, sensory processing, and occupational therapy interventions for the elementary age group.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for empowering young learners with diverse needs to achieve independence in daily life and academic settings.
