Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production operations. You will be a key player in ensuring our production processes are running smoothly and efficiently, and that we are meeting our operational targets and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

As our Production Manager, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

1. Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule, and ensuring that the production is cost-effective.
2. Implementing and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, reduce waste and increase efficiency.
3. Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
4. Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
5. Supervising and motivating a team of workers, reviewing their performance and identifying training needs.
6. Working with the senior management to implement the company's policies and goals.
7. Ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
8. Troubleshooting problems or bottlenecks in the production processes.
9. Participating in budget development and overseeing cost and general accounting related to manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Production Manager role should have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
2. Proven experience with Production Scheduling, Continuous Improvement, and Manufacturing Operations.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry-specific software and systems.
8. Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives and the ability to implement production plans to meet these goals.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
10. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and proven experience in implementing them.
