Position Overview:

  • Position: Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Location: Oklahoma (remote)
  • Employment Type: 1099 Contract
  • Schedule: Flexible, work-from-home setup with full-time and part-time options
  • School Year: 2024-2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging virtual speech therapy to K-12 students, focusing on individualized care for those with communication disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, create treatment plans, and adjust based on progress.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and administrators to support students educational goals.
  • Utilize teletherapy tools and resources provided by VocoVision to enhance therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, meeting Oklahomas standards.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Licensure: Valid Oklahoma state SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Oklahoma Teaching Certificate: Required to practice in Oklahoma schools.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years working with school-age children or in pediatric settings is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Must pass a tech screening for Wi-Fi, download speeds, and Zoom capability.
