Currently seeking a Welder Helper for our Snyder, TX location.

Responsibilities of the Welder Helper include, but are not limited to:

• Mig, tig, and stick welding
• Pipe, steel, and stainless steel welding
• Pipe fitting
• Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job
• Plans details of working procedure, tools and material requirements
• Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals
• Repairs equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
• Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts
• Builds up worn or defective surfaces
• Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly

Qualifications of the Welder Helper include, but are not limited to:

• 1-2 years of welding experience
• Familiar with iron work, plasma, and some experience welding is a plus

 

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Must lift up to 50lbs.

Working Conditions: Shop
Training/Certifications: Welding (MIG,TIG and SMAW Pipe and Structural) Blue Print Reading
Shift Time/Overtime: Day Shift/Overtime as required
Travel: N/A
Education: High School/Trade School
