Paraprofessionals Needed in the Dubuque, IA Area

Location: Dubuque, IA
Position Type: Full-time | 30+ Hours per week
Caseload Details: Openings in All Grades | Mild to Moderate Students | Classroom support and One-on-One Assignments available

Role Overview:
ProCare Therapy is on the lookout for dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals to support our esteemed partner school districts in the Dubuque, IA area. This role is essential in assisting students with special needs and contributing to their educational journey throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply behavior management strategies to help students develop positive social skills and appropriate behaviors.
  • Track and report on student progress, sharing insights with the supervising teacher or educational team.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to facilitate learning and growth.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Associates degree or higher is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Prior experience working with special needs students is a plus.
