Job Title: Virtual Special Education Teacher / Intervention Specialist (IEP Writer / Case Manager)
Location: Ohio (Remote)
Type: Full-Time, Contract
Role: IEP Writer/Case Manager paired with an onsite team to facilitate direct services

Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Virtual Special Education Teacher / Intervention Specialist to manage IEP writing and case management for students in Ohio. The role will involve collaborating with an onsite team to support direct services for students. The ideal candidate will have experience writing IEPs, managing cases, and working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that students educational needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving special education services.
  • Collaborate with an onsite team of educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure students receive appropriate services.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust IEPs as needed to reflect updated goals and services.
  • Provide case management services, ensuring all aspects of student services are aligned with their educational needs.
  • Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with families, school staff, and related service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching License or Intervention Specialist Certification (required).
  • Experience in IEP writing and case management (required).
  • Familiarity with Ohio special education regulations and procedures.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, especially in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay Rate: $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience.
