Special Education Teacher - Life Skills
Are you passionate about working with kiddos with special needs? ProCare Therapy is currently looking for a dedicated and innovative Life Skills Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts located in the vibrant community of Gettysburg, PA.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and a commitment to empowering students with the skills they need to lead independent, fulfilling lives. This role involves working with students with varying abilities, focusing on daily living skills, social development, and vocational training.

Description
- Full time
- M-F
- 37.5 hours per week
- Special Education Teaching - working with Life Skills and Autism
- Ages: 5-8
- 10 kiddos on caseload
- ASAP - June 20, 2025

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education andthen a Master'sdegree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
- Active State Licensure
- Active state Certification
- Experience working with severe needs/self-contained settings
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
Interview Process
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
- 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
