Parts Person

This position involves working in the parts department, where you will be responsible for looking up parts in books and on a computer, answering phones, working with customers, managing inventory levels including shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and back stock. The role also includes selling parts in person or over the phone, invoicing, and collecting payments. You will refer to parts manuals to identify the correct parts for various makes and models of vehicles.
Responsibilities- Look up parts in books and on a computer
- Answer phones and assist customers
- Manage inventory levels including shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and back stock
- Sell parts in person or over the phone
- Invoice and collect payments
- Identify the right parts using parts manuals for different makes and models of vehicles
- 1+ year experience working in shipping/receiving
- 1+ year experience working with customers
- Experience in parts inventory management
- Proficiency in parts sales
- Auto part experience is preferred
- Outgoing personality with a willingness to go above and beyond
- Successful employment history confirmed via references
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work at a fast pace

Work EnvironmentWe are a towing and recovery equipment specialist, providing new and used tow truck sales, service, and parts. We handle a range of tasks from fixing hydraulic hoses to repairing trucks after accidents. Our facilities include a state-of-the-art prep bay, downdraft spray booth, sandblasting, and custom graphic services. Work hours are flexible, typically from 8-5 or 9-6.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
