Our client, a leading food processing company, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the Shipping department supporting the Shipping Superintendent. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.  The hours are 1PM-9:30PM Sunday through Thursday.

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Location: Austin, MN

Pay Range: $20-24/hr depending on experience

What's the Job?

  • Coordinates the loading of inbound and outbound trucks.
  • Reconciles inbound and outbound shipments contents between operator entry and actual orders.
  • Assists supervisors in monitoring inventory, code dates, paperwork completion, physical inventory sampling and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains accurate Warehouse, Cold Side AS/RS, Freezer and Loin Cooler inventory records.
  • Assist transportation team as needed.

What's Needed?

  • High school education or the equivalent.
  • Demonstrated use of strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately add large columns of numbers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to learn plant-based computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work on your feet and tolerate working in a 40&degree; environment.
  • Experience with personal computers, Windows, and Excel.
