This position is 80% ($19) forklift and 20% Yard Spotter ($25)

Gojob is hiring a Yard Jockey/Switcher in Nashville, TN for a global logistics company. You will be responsible for moving and spotting equipment required to facilitate the needs of warehouse and processing material for shipment or storage. Once spotter duties are completed, you will be required to jump in and do warehouse/forklift duties.

Pay rate:

  • $25/hr on days working as a spotter (20% of the time) and $19/hr on days working as a forklift driver (80% of the time)

**Shift Available: **

  • Hours: 6:00AM - Finish

Responsibilities:

  • Moving equipment and trailers around the yard
  • Completing trailer sanitation before reloading
  • Notifying management of repairs that need to be made
  • Storing equipment in safe areas
  • Conducting regular inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment
  • Conducting an inventory of equipment

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of tractor-trailer experience is preferred
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Forklift certification and switcher experience
