We are looking for a great Ultrasound Technician that is a skilled and empathetic professional who can effectively combine technical proficiency in ultrasound imaging with patient-centered care for our Healthcare Client, who has multiple outpatient locations throughout Chicago. Ultrasound Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations based on physician orders and department protocols, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and cardiac imaging
  • Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and provide a comfortable and supportive environment
  • Review images for quality and clarity, ensuring that diagnostic information is captured accurately
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to discuss findings and ensure accuracy in reporting

Ultrasound Technician Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Previous experience as an ultrasound sonographer is preferred, though entry-level candidates with strong technical skills may be considered
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and familiarity with a range of diagnostic procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
