ProCare Therapy is eager to add a Occupational Therapist to our team for the 2024-2025 school year. We are collaborating with a district that requires full-time assistance for a K-12th grade caseload. While the district prefers OTs with school-based experience, it is open to considering all qualified candidates in the field. Job Details:
  • Onsite location near the Wickliffe, Ohio area
  • Start ASAP
  • 37.5 guaranteed service hours per week
  • # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services director during interview

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
  • Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license in Ohio
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
