Sunbelt staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced 1:1 School Nurse (LPN) near Wilton, NH to provide dedicated care for a medically fragile student. This position involves assisting with daily activities such as changing, lifting, managing seizures, andgtube feedings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to a medically fragile student in a school setting.
  • Assist with changing and lifting the student as needed.
  • Monitor and manage seizures effectively, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to the student's care plan.
  • Monitor and maintain the gtube, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with the student's healthcare team, parents, and school staff to ensure consistent care and support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid nursing license (LPN) in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Prior experience working with medically fragile students, preferably in a school or pediatric setting. (not required but preferred)
  • Familiarity with changing techniques, lifting protocols, seizure management, and gtube care.
  • Strong observational and assessment skills to recognize changes in the student's condition.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the student, parents, and multidisciplinary team.

Details:

  • M-F / No weekend or Holidays w/ summers off (If you choose).
  • Contract for the full 23-24 with chance for renewal.

This is a full-time position requiring 35-40hours per week, following the school schedule. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
