Special Education Teacher - Learning Support

Are you passionate about providing academic support to students with special needs? ProCare Therapy is actively searching for a qualified and compassionate special educator to join one of our forward-thinking school districts located in beautiful Drexel Hill, PA. As a Learning Support SPED,you will play a crucial role in providing individualized support to students with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to create and implement effective strategies that promote academic success and social-emotional development.

Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 36.25 hours per week
  • 8:15am-3:30pm
  • Elementary Learning Support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education andthen a Master'sdegree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
  • Active state Licensure
  • Active state Certification
  • PA Clearances
  • Experience working with severe needs/self-contained settings
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
