Ready to join a growing and "sweet" place to work? We are seeking an Assistant Parts Coordinator to help maintain equipment and parts within our maintenance team.

Responsible for inventory levels of all equipment, parts and facilities related materials in the Maintenance Department.

  • Coordinates, organizes and maintains all parts inventory relating to machinery and parts for facilities maintenance functions.
  • Orders, stocks and receives parts and maintains accuracy in database and interaction with vendors.
  • Orders supplies needed for maintenance projects.
  • Maintains maintenance database utilizing Navision for parts inventory.
  • Spare parts inventory control and order management.
  • Annual and cyclic inventory audit.
  • Follows all safety and GMP rules and regulations.
  • Ensures that all tasks and functions of position are performed in a safe manner at all times and that all procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for food safety and quality as well as reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience in inventory control
  • Project work experience
  • Time management skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude and machine parts nomenclature knowledge
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Further education is preferred.
  • Education in HACCP (Food Safety) and Food Quality required
