Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, OR
5-8 years of progressive HR experience
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills
Training & development expertise
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
Employee Relations:
Provide HR support and coaching to all levels of employees.
Utilize conflict resolution techniques for team cohesion.
Act as an interpreter for meetings and communications.
Compliance & Policy:
Ensure HR compliance with state and federal laws (EEOC, ADA, FMLA, etc.).
Update company policies as needed.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Support recruitment efforts.
Facilitate onboarding and first-day experiences.
Performance Management:
Oversee performance review processes.
Provide tools and training for managers and employees.
Administrative HR Functions:
Maintain personnel records.
Manage workers' compensation claims.
Process bi-monthly payroll using a third-party service.
Participate in the Safety Committee.
