Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Prepare financial statements and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights to senior accounting staff.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial goals and business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting (public accounting experience is a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, advanced formulas, data analysis).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment with strong time-management skills.
