Governance and Policy Specialist

Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the organization's policy and procedure library, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
Develop, revise, and implement policies and procedures in collaboration with various departments and stakeholders.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing policies and procedures.
Conduct research and analysis on governance best practices and emerging trends.
Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents for physician and staff leadership.
Support the paralegal with contract management and other legal administrative tasks (training will be provided on Legisway).
Manage projects using project management tools (training will be provided on Smartsheet).
Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong preference for candidates with experience working in a corporate/association law department or private law firm.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to quickly learn new software applications (e.g., Smartsheet, Legisway).
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., law, business administration, public policy).
Experience with contract management systems.
Experience with project management software.
