Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced assembler to join our team on the 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 3:20pm to 1:40am. This role involves the assembly of filter systems within our bag assembly area, adhering to a structured yet flexible process to ensure quality and efficiency. The position requires the ability to perform various tasks, including spinning, applying adhesive, cutting media, wrapping materials, spot welding, seaming, packing, and inspecting products.

Responsibilities
  • Spin, apply adhesive, and plastisol to products or components.
  • Cut media, wrap, and handle other materials as required.
  • Perform spot welding and seaming on filters or components.
  • Pack and inspect products to ensure quality.
  • Complete all quality data and product reports as needed.
  • Meet daily performance requirements.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all manufacturing procedures.
  • Work overtime hours as required by business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regularly stand, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, push and pull objects, and lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Essential Skills
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience in production assembly (preferred)
  • Proficiency with hand tools
  • Experience using pushing machines
  • Experience with sewing machines
Work Environment

The production floor is organized into various cells dedicated to our two main business units: Railroad Filter Systems and Dust Collection Filter Systems. Each cell comprises 3-6 production workers and one material handler responsible for packing and palletizing filters. The production floor is overseen by a production manager and an assistant production manager, who report to the plant manager. The average employee tenure is about 15 years. The dress code includes work pants, a t-shirt, steel toe boots or sneakers, and additional PPE provided by the company.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25
