Currently hiring Electronic Solderers to join our company in Tampa, FL

Seeking technicians with 1-3 years of experience as an electronic assembler.

Job Title: Solder Technician

Location: Tampa, FL

Position Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $20-25 per hour

Description:

To assist in the production of on-time, quality deliveries to our customers.

• Check foot straps for ESD compliance as needed

• Follows ISO process sheet for the operation.

• Adheres to all quality and safety guidelines

• Using tweezers, solder extractor, solder iron, hot air pencil and hot air reflow

• Must be able to be a precise solderer and be very detailed and meticulous

• Will be knowledgeable of rework aids: solder braid, flux, flux-core solder, solder paste isopropyl alcohol

• Performs visual inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various states of production

Responsibilities:

- Perform hand soldering of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using soldering irons and other tools.

- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure accurate component placement and soldering.

- Inspect finished assemblies to verify conformance to quality standards and specifications.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and best practices.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Knowledge of quality procedures

• Previous electronic manufacturing experience is a plus

• Able and willing to cross-train into other production positions which may have different technical or physical requirements

• Able to successfully complete position certification course

• IPC Standards knowledge

• ESD knowledge

• Basic computer skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00
