Job Description

The Warehouse Worker processes shipping or receiving documentation and physically receives, stores, packages, labels, and ships freight. This role aids in the development and growth of all accounts assigned in coordination with sales and management. The Warehouse Worker ensures the integrity of inventory level accuracy and operates warehouse power equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic jacks, for the performance of duties.

Responsibilities
  • Process shipping or receiving documentation.
  • Physically receive, store, package, label, and ship freight.
  • Aid in the development and growth of assigned accounts in coordination with sales and management.
  • Ensure the integrity of inventory level accuracy.
  • Operate warehouse power equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic jacks, for the performance of duties.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with forklifts and other warehouse power equipment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and accuracy.
  • Ability to process and handle shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Proficiency in picking, packaging, and labeling freight.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • PITO certification or equivalent equipment experience is required for roles involving power equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment involves operating power equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic jacks. Employees should be prepared for physical tasks such as lifting and moving packages. The work hours and shifts may vary, and the dress code typically includes safety gear and comfortable attire suitable for a warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00
