Position Details:

  • Discipline:Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Dates: 8/5/2024-5/20/2025
  • Hours: Full-time; 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload/Details: Around 40 students, 2nd Grade - 8th Grade
  • Onsite
  • Number of open positions: 1

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations of patients with speech and language disorders
  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy sessions targeting speech and language goals
  • Monitor and meticulously document patient progress
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
  • Engage and educate families in the therapy process

Requirements:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Possess current state licensure in Louisiana
  • Preferably, hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Preferred experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
