Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

Job Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 7:45am-3:15pm
  • Ages: 3-4 year olds
  • Caseload: fluid, with no more than 20 students
  • Early Childhood PreK caseload
  • 1 school site
  • Interviewing begins the first week of December
  • More details to be discussed during interview

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
  • Active Tennessee Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education (Pre-K)
  • Endorsement to teach a Comprehensive Developmental Classroom
  • Active Certifications
  • Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
  • Comfortable collaborating with other teachers and staff to achieve student success
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
