Automotive Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDo you have quality automotive technical skills and a knack for taking a diagnostic approach to problem-solving? We seek a mechanically minded individual looking for an opportunity to join an efficient auto service center team Our successful automotive technician candidate understands vehicle electrical and computer systems and is able to properly diagnose and fix repairs. If you believe you are the candidate we need, apply todayCompensation:

$75,000 - $135,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems
• Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships
• When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes
• Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process
• Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
• ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
• Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory
