We are seeking a compassionate and motivated School Social Worker to join our team in Arvada, CO. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of students. By working closely with families, staff, and community resources, you will help create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling and support to students dealing with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to address students' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a positive school climate.
  • Facilitate access to community resources and services for students and their families.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments to identify barriers to learning and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Colorado School Social Worker License.
  • Masters Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Experience in school-based counseling or social work preferred.
  • Knowledge of mental health resources and evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
