ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to join a school district in Baker, LA. This full-time position, with the flexibility to consider part-time candidates, focuses on early childhood and autism evaluations, as well as initial psychological evaluations. Position Overview:

  • Location: Baker, LA
  • Schedule: Full-time preferred; part-time options available
  • Caseload:
    • Early childhood students
    • Autism evaluations
    • Initial psychological evaluations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive autism evaluations to support diagnostic and educational planning.
  • Perform initial psychological evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for services.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies and recommendations.
  • Provide direct support for early childhood students, addressing developmental and behavioral challenges.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments and services.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Louisiana.
  • Experience with early childhood and autism evaluations is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
