Insight Global is seeking a Physical Therapist to support an Orthopedic Specialty Center in Florence, Alabama. 

This professional will provide efficient, quality-oriented, patient care within our outpatient orthopedic clinic. The candidate will provide care through individualized programs including: assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, home exercise programs, education, and communication. The main goal of the physical therapist is to maximize the patient’s progress toward achieving functional goals.

This is a FULLTIME direct hire role (not a traveling role). 

Requirements:

  • Masters of DPT degree in Physical Therapy as evidenced by college diploma
  • Current unencumbered, active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Alabama

Expectations:

  • Ability to project a professional image.  
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. 
  • Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process. 
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals. 
  • Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations. 
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. 
  • Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Moderate Work:  Requires substantial amount of time standing and walking. May frequently exert force equivalent to lifting to approximately 25 pounds and/or occasionally exert force equivalent to lifting up to approximately 70 pounds
  • Vision:  Requires the ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye.
  • Speaking / Hearing:  Must possess the ability to give and receive information through speaking and hearing skills.
  • Motor Coordination:  While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools and/or controls/ and stoop, knee, crouch, or bend.  The incumbent is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms.  The incumbent is occasionally required to sit.
