Job Description

Inventory clerks are responsible for managing and maintaining inventory in a warehouse or store. Their duties include inventory management, ensuring materials are always available, and negotiating with suppliers to restock goods. They also handle stock reconciliation, counting inventory and recording it, and reconciling stock reports with physical counts. Additionally, they track material or product flow and record new items, and update a database with incoming and outgoing products.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Work Environment

The work environment is on-site at the Procter and Gamble site in Inwood, WV. The site is slated to be one of the largest P&G sites once fully functional, and it will continue to grow and expand as new products are added to the portfolio. Steel toe shoes are required. PPE provided includes safety glasses and safety vests, which must be worn at all times on the production floor. All clothing must be in good repair, free from holes, rips, tears, and graffiti. For safety reasons, no sagging shirts/pants, extremely long shirts/pants, or loose accessories that impair safe driving, walking, reaching, or bending. Apparel that advertises violence, alcohol, or tobacco products is not allowed. Shorts must be approximately two inches above the knee or longer. Sleeveless tops are not allowed. The shift is from 7 pm to 7 am at $18.00/hr. The schedule follows a 2-2-3 pattern: one week working Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the following week Monday, Thursday, and Friday. All Sit-Down Operator new starts will go through training on day shift Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm for the first 2 weeks.
