We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing behavior analysis services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients and contribute to their overall growth and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior plans and interventions developed by the supervising BCBA or licensed professional.
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy and support to individuals with ASD, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
  • Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior using established protocols and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA, caregivers, and other team members to ensure consistent and effective treatment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions and interventions.
  • Build rapport and establish positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in implementing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus).
  • Completion of a recognized RBT training program.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and its practical application.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with clients and families.
  • Physical and emotional stamina to handle physically demanding tasks and challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to work under the supervision of a BCBA or licensed professional and follow their guidance.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
