We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Special Education Teacher to join a supportive educational community near Cornelius, OR. This is a full-time position focused on helping students thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and staff to provide individualized support for students.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs in inclusive settings.
• Support students with various disabilities, including those with autism, to achieve their educational goals.

Qualifications:

• A valid State of Oregon teaching certificate with a special education endorsement.
• Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Oregon Drivers License and access to reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster an inclusive and respectful environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Working in non-categorical programs.
• Supporting students with autism or similar needs.
