Schools - Paraprofessional

Paraprofessional needed ASAP:

• 30-32.5 Hours Per Week
• 5 Days Per Week
• Work Hours: Tentative
• Multiple Openings
  • Classroom TA Positions
• 1 School Building - Location TBD
• NY Teaching Assistant/Paraprofessional Certificate - Levels I, II or III

Qualifications/Requirements:

It is not required but HIGHLY preferred if you have at least 1OF THE FOLLOWING:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 60+ hours of college credits
• associates degree
• paraprofessional license/certification
• substitute license/certification
• anyprior experience in a school/daycare setting or working with special education and behavioral kids

About the Position:

We are looking for passionate and experienced Paraprofessionals to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of classroom management and experience working with elementary school students. School experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing classroom activities
• Work with small groups and individual students to support their learning and development
• Supervise students during play and other activities
• Help to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
