Position Title: EMS Certification Coordinator

Location: Marlborough, MA 01752

Anticipated Start Date: 1-2 weeks

Expected Duration: 2+ Months

Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY)], [CONTRACT], [ON-SITE]

Pay Range: [$20.00/HR – [$23.80/HR]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Position Description: 

Job Summary:

The Program Assistant will provide telephone and email support to Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), review certification applications, and assist with clerical tasks related to the certification and education of EMTs. The role ensures the smooth processing of certification and recertification applications in accordance with established procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Application Review:

·         Review submitted electronic and paper applications in accordance with established procedures and process them through electronic computer systems.

Customer Service:

·         Provide telephone and email customer service to certified EMT personnel, addressing inquiries regarding certification maintenance or reinstatement based on established procedures, or collect information for follow-up by others.

Certification Verification:

·         Assist individuals with verification of past or current EMT certification.

Record Maintenance:

·         Process and maintain records related to certification and recertification of EMT personnel.

 

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills (telephone and email)

·         Proficiency with computer systems for application processing

·         Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
