Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Boerne, Texas. This role primarily involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial reports within an accounting framework.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and record financial transactions including bills, invoices, payroll, and other accounting activities using the QuickBooks software
• Maintain an organized system of accounts and ensure all financial documentation is up-to-date
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage tax preparation processes
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting
• Conduct administrative tasks as necessary, including record keeping and filing
• Ensure all transactions are correctly recorded and assist in shaping the organization's streamlined financial structure
• Meet financial accounting objectives as established by leadership.• Proficient in Account Reconciliation
• Demonstrable experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Solid experience in Bookkeeping
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll procedures and regulations
• Proficient in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.
