Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Floor Care Technician to maintain and restore various floor surfaces using appropriate procedures and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in hard-surface floor maintenance, carpet and upholstery care, and the use of industrial floor care equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
  • Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
  • Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surfaces.
  • Follow proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
  • Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the manager.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at a health system facility. Available shifts include 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm). The majority of work will be Monday to Friday, but flexibility is needed as weekend work may be required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50
