Job Description

We are seeking Shipping and Receiving Clerks to work in our facility. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and preparing shipments for dispatch.

Responsibilities
  • Keep materials stacked and move material throughout the facility
  • Stock the line when parts are running low
  • Fill and unload pallets and tubs
  • Keep accurate counts of data
  • Pull materials to the dock to be sent out
Essential Skills
  • 1 year of warehouse experience
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stretch throughout the entire shift
  • Ability to lift 50 - 75 pounds
  • Steel toe shoes/boots
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Sit down forklift experience
  • Forklift certification

Employees are offered direct hire status after 90 days with a new pay increase after January 15th and yearly pay reviews. Enjoy holiday pay once direct, double time on Sundays, 2 weeks vacation, and BCBS offered after 60 days of direct employment. A 401k plan is also available. All necessary PPE is provided and employees can get a $100 reimbursement for steel toe boots/shoes upon becoming direct employees. There are opportunities for cross-training and moving into different departments.

Work Environment

This is a launch sequencing facility that handles only Chrysler business. The facility is 150,000 sq feet and has been recently remodeled. It features a cleanroom environment where safety and cleanliness are paramount. The rest of the facility includes 244 Fanuc Robots, Sub Assembly Cells, Flex cells, Stand alone cells, Weld robots, and Dispensing robots. It is a non-union plant. The plastics side operates on a Just-In-Time (JIT) basis, while the metals side does not. Cell phones are not allowed on the floor.

The pay range for this position is $18.80 - $18.80
