Position Highlights:
- Location: Mount Union, PA
- Schedule: Full-time, hours to be finalized during the interview process
- Caseload: Preschool students in a structured, specialized classroom setting (details shared during the interview)
- Compensation: $32+ per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
- Contract Duration: ASAP July 1, 2025
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction based on students' unique needs through Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Employ evidence-based teaching strategies to support developmental milestones and social skills.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including paraprofessionals, therapists, and families, to ensure student success.
- Evaluate student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
- Cultivate a classroom environment that is inclusive, engaging, and conducive to learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Active Pennsylvania certification in Special Education is mandatory.
- Previous experience working with preschool students or early childhood education is a plus.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork with staff and families.
