We are offering a contract for an Operation/Production Planner role in Fresno, California. This role is pivotal in our supply chain process, necessitating robust communication skills and a meticulous approach to handle supplier coordination and inventory optimization.


Responsibilities:

• Effectively liaise with suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

• Sustain optimal inventory levels in accordance with business objectives, modifying material supply plans in response to evolving business conditions.

• Cultivate and foster working relationships with customer service, inventory control, logistics, and production teams.

• Implement and uphold supply plans in alignment with projected demand requirements.

• Evaluate, regulate, and enhance supply processes and methodologies.

• Oversee the relocation of inventory between warehouses to fulfill customer requirements and anticipated service levels.

• Execute inventory management strategies such as the minimization of obsolete or discontinued inventories, under the supervision of operational management.

• Track and enhance key performance metrics including out of stock instances, on-time-delivery performance, lead time compliance, and other operational metrics.

• Develop and maintain business relationships with all approved suppliers, advocating company requirements and guidelines.

• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Material Planner role or a similar field.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is a key requirement for this position.

• The candidate should have experience with CRM, showcasing their ability to manage and interpret customer interactions.

• Strong data processing skills are required, demonstrating the applicant's ability to handle, organize and interpret large volumes of data.

• Familiarity with Epic Software is necessary for this role to aid in the management of electronic health records.

• A strong understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential to help streamline and integrate business processes.

• Auditing skills are also required, as the candidate will need to conduct systematic reviews of various operations.

• The candidate should possess check processing skills, demonstrating their ability to handle monetary transactions accurately.

• Excellent communication skills are a must, as the candidate will be expected to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders.

• The candidate should have a strong understanding of compliance, ensuring all operations adhere to relevant laws, policies, and regulations.

• The candidate should be comfortable with managing daily operations, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing various tasks.
