Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk for our team located in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be heavily involved in processing and managing various forms of data, ensuring the accuracy of customer records, and handling complex situations independently or as part of a team. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, ideal for those with a keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process electronic filing authorization forms, contracts, and other miscellaneous items using DocuSign
• Handle the creation, packaging, and dispatch of certified mailing receipts and UPS packages
• Responsible for scanning client tax workpapers and maintaining an organized electronic file system
• Create and manage projects in Workstream and workspaces in DMS Manager
• Process new client requests and project phases, prioritizing urgent requests from the local office
• Assist with the processing of large paper tax return deliverable jobs
• Utilize various software such as Adobe Professional, CCH Axcess, DocuSign, iManage, and DMS Manager for daily tasks
• Capable of switching between different tasks efficiently, allocating attention, and managing time effectively
• Handle complex situations independently and collaborate with the team when necessary
• Maintain high levels of communication within the team and exhibit proficiency in various types of technology.• Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with contracts and the ability to comprehend and process contractual language.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in digital skills including basic computer knowledge and familiarity with various software and online platforms.
• Experience in handling receipts and understanding tax documents.
• Knowledge of paper and electronic file management, including labelling and organizing files for easy retrieval.
• Ability to prepare deliverables according to specified guidelines.
• Proficiency in using tax return software and understanding the process of filing tax returns.
• Knowledge of switching protocols, and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Familiarity with work papers and understanding their role in audits and investigations.
• Experience with DocuSign or similar digital signature platforms.
• Understanding of DMS or Dense Medium Separation processes.
• Knowledge of authorization forms and the ability to process them accurately.
• Experience in QA management, and ability to ensure quality of data entry and other tasks.
