Location: Marietta, OH
Position: Cath Lab RN
Shift: Variable AM (Start at 7 AM or 8 AM)

  • 40 Hours/Week
  • 5x8s or 4x10s
  • On-Call: Every 3-4 days during the week (Mon-Fri) and every 3rd to 4th weekend
  • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: No weekends (unless on-call), no holidays

Pay Package:

  • Base Pay: $48.85/hr
  • Overtime/Call Back: $73.25/hr
  • On-Call Pay: $6/hr
  • Per Diem: $1,246
  • Gross Weekly Pay: $3,200

Certifications Required:

  • BLS
  • ARRT (cannot accept RCIS)

Responsibilities:

As a Cath Lab RN, you will be assisting physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures, such as angioplasty, stenting, and thrombolysis, with imaging guidance. Your role will involve preparing patients for procedures, educating them on the process, and performing imaging on the heart and blood vessels. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that ensures optimal patient care during and after procedures. If dual-trained, you may float between the Cath Lab and IR, supporting both units.

Key Duties:

  • Assist in performing angioplasty, stenting, and thrombolysis procedures
  • Provide imaging of the heart and blood vessels
  • Educate patients about their procedures and care plans
  • Collaborate with the physician to ensure patient safety
  • Document and chart using Merge Hemo for procedure charting

Number of Labs/Procedures Per Day:

  • Typically 3 labs, seeing 10-12 outpatient procedures per day

Equipment Used:

  • Phillips X-Ray
  • Merge Hemo for procedure charting
