We are seeking a skilled Packaging Mechanic to join our team. This role offers two shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM).

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on packaging machinery.
  • Set up and change over machines.
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspect transformers and circuit breakers.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOP/GMP, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficiency with electrical hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience with amp meters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters.
  • Experience with HMIs and PLCs.
  • Ability to navigate and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
