Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the positions arefilled.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs.
- Customize instruction to effectively address a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods and innovative technologies to actively engage students.
- Monitor student progress closely and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate closely withteachers, counselors, and specialists.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Possession of a valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven experience working with students who have diverse learning needs.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of effective evidence based behavior management techniques and positive behavior supports.
- Ability to excel within a collaborative team environment.
