Job Title: Full-Time School Social Worker
Location: Midlothian, IL

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time School Social Worker to join our team in Midlothian, IL. The Social Worker will play a key role in supporting students' emotional, social, and academic well-being. This position involves working closely with students, families, and school staff to address social and emotional challenges, promote a positive school climate, and ensure access to resources and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students with social, emotional, or behavioral concerns.
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address students needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to implement strategies for student success.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and community resources, making referrals as needed.
  • Participate in IEP and 504 Plan development for students requiring special services.
  • Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Illinois state certification or licensure as a School Social Worker.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
