Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
Responsible for provision of day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources department. Primary focus will be on staffing programs to ensure talent is onboarded and available to meet production demand. Additional duties will include general support for Human Resources and plant administration.
This is an on-site position and is not available for hybrid or remote work; project-based role expected to last 4 to 6 months.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- HRIS Data: Ensure timely and accurate communication of record updates for new starters and terminations within scope of assigned focus.
- Recruiting Administrative Support: Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule interviews, receive feedback and provide follow up to candidates. Function as primary resource for contingent worker program/process.
- Employee On-Boarding & New Hire Orientation: Prepare and deliver orientation. Coordinate with other departments as required to facilitate completion of requirements. Ensure new starters are connected/engaged with work teams.
- Respond to General Employee Inquiries: Provide timely response to employee questions in areas such as timekeeping, policies and benefits. Escalate concerns as needed.
- Basic Reporting: Prepare a variety of reports, i.e.: weekly headcount, leavers and joiners. Distribute as directed.
- HR Communications: Update and deploy communication screen presentations, ensuring regular flow of information is available.
- Work on special assignments to support the HR team and process improvements.
- Support facility as needed to ensure efficient operation/response. Other duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications:

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet specific, time-sensitive tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with high volume workload
- Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others.
- Solid presentation skills and facilitation experience to effectively deliver a variety of HR-related programs.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail required.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources
- Proficiency with HR systems, and MS Office package; (strong Excel and Power Point skills preferred).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable.
- Ability to handle sensitive, highly confidential information and situations with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Travel Requirements
- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Work may be performed in a clean room environment. Follow the guidelines established for such an environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
