Position: Virtual School Psychologist

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 6, 2025
Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Remote (North Carolina School District)
Compensation: $48-53 per hour (approx. $85-90k annually, based on a 10-month period)

About the Role:
VocoVision is actively seeking an experienced Virtual School Psychologist to provide psychological services for a North Carolina school district. This is a full-time, remote opportunity perfect for a professional with expertise in school psychology, especially in virtual environments. The position covers the remainder of the current semester and the full second semester.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological assessments and develop in-depth evaluations for students.
  • Write and present eligibility reports during meetings.
  • Offer direct services and consultation to students, families, and staff.
  • Utilize ECATs and the IEP system for IEP development and monitoring.
  • Document all services and student progress accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with the district team to ensure optimal outcomes for students.

Qualifications:

  • Must have North Carolina state licensure in school psychology.
  • Prior experience delivering school psychology services in a virtual format is essential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in working with ECATs, managing IEPs, conducting assessments, and attending eligibility meetings.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively in a remote setting.

Additional Information:

  • A full-time, onsite school psychologist will be available through January 15th to assist with transition support.
  • The role is part of a newly established virtual service model, so the ability to work autonomously and provide input on best practices for virtual delivery is important.
