Special Education Teacher

Do you have a passion for working closely with students who have moderate to severe disabilities? ProCare Therapy is currently looking for a qualified and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts in beautiful Manassas Park, Virginia.The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth for students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using evidence-based practices, and collaborating with families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to promote student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education andthen a Master'sdegree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
  • Virginia Special Education TeachingLicense
  • Active Virginia Special EducationCertification
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
