LHH is seeking a Controls Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent position with a manufacturing client in the Terre Haute, IN area. This is an opportunity to join a well-established company in one of the fastest growing industries in the US. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $90k to 110k per year and includes comprehensive benefit plans, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

Currently, Visa Sponsorship/Transfer is NOT available for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:

· Identify and resolve process operating problems and machine faults, investigate equipment failures, draft follow-up action reports, and share technical assistance with workers on the production floor.

· Troubleshoot PLC-based machinery on the production floor and conduct appropriate follow-up on resolutions.

· Conduct root cause analysis of equipment-related issues.

· Contribute to the design, improvement, and implementation of automation throughout the manufacturing facility.

· Upgrade obsolete controls and programming on existing equipment.

· Identify and repair system issues, sensors, and equipment.

· Program and maintain HMI at each production center/cell.

· Contribute to the development of the organization’s preventative maintenance and continuous improvement strategies and implement tools and methodologies and accelerate deliverables and improve output.

· Coordinate with engineering and production personnel to develop a shared vision for the completion of daily engineering tasks and then report on those activities.

· Ensure that all safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.

· Manage additional duties as assigned by the Engineering Management Team

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or other technical degree or significant related experience

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
