Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAerotek is currently hiring for maintenance supervisors in the greater Baltimore, MD area Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:

Job Description:

  • Oversee team of industrial maintenance technicians
  • Delegate work orders and PM schedules
  • Oversee repairs of other mechanics while also performing hands-on maintenance and repairs
  • Preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of low and high-speed production equipment and have the working knowledge of belt & screw conveyors, bucket elevators and other material handling equipment
  • Run basic machine shop equipment that includes Manual Lathe’s and Manual End Mills, perform metal fabrication, weld and burn and have the ability to trouble shoot basic Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems
  • Perform mechanical repairs on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatic systems
  • Perform fabrication and welding repairs
  • Perform any other maintenance and repairs as needed
Job Requirements:
  • Prior leadership or supervising experience
  • Experience performing maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Experience maintaining and repairing production equipment
  • Experience performing troubleshooting of PLCs
  • Any welding or fabrication experience is a plus
