Location: Savannah, GA

Type: Travel

Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: 8:00 am 4:30 pm

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Mammography Tech to join a leading medical facility in Savannah, GA. This role involves performing 2D and 3D mammography using Hologic equipment, with a preference for candidates experienced in image-guided breast biopsy. The ideal candidate will be a registered Radiologic Technologist (R) and Mammography Technologist (M), with additional qualifications as a Breast Sonographer (BS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). On-call, weekend, and floating requirements may apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammographic imaging using 2D and 3D technologies
  • Utilize Hologic equipment for breast imaging
  • Conduct image-guided breast biopsies
  • Ensure quality patient care during procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (R), Mammography Technologist (M)
  • Breast Sonographer (BS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Mammography and Breast Ultrasonography
  • Experience with 2D and 3D Mammography, Hologic equipment preferred
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission
  • Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
