Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified candidates for a full-time School Psychologist position with school districts in the Tooele, UTarea. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about supporting students' mental, emotional, and academic well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and interventions to students experiencing academic or emotional challenges.
  • Assist in developing behavior management plans and offer strategies for improving student performance.
  • Promote a safe and positive school environment through crisis intervention, mediation, and conflict resolution services.
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom management techniques and strategies to support students with special needs.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid state School Psychologist certification.
  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology.
  • Knowledge of Georgia state and local policies related to special education and student services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff.
