Job Title: Production Painter (2nd Shift)

Location: Beltsville, MD 20705
Shift Hours: Monday / Friday – 2nd Shift / 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (6 month contract position to start)
Pay Rate: 23 – 34/hr depending on experience

Job Summary
The Manufacturing Painter will be responsible for applying protective or decorative coatings to parts, assemblies, and finished products. This includes using a spray gun, brush, or roller to ensure all surfaces are coated as required. The role also includes processing parts through a chemical etch line prior to surface finishing and adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using a spray gun to coat surfaces on parts, assemblies, and products.

• Mix and select the appropriate coating material for the job.

• Use brushes or rollers to coat areas that are not accessible by a spray gun.

• Process parts through the chemical etch line prior to finishing.

• Monitor and verify the quality of coating in line with statistical process or other control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least 5 years of recent experience in manufacturing painting.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Familiarity with quality control processes in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Skills

• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.

• Knowledge of various coating materials and application techniques.

Pay Details: 23.00 to 34.00 per hour
